I’m Kathy, a working artist based in California's San Francisco Bay Area. My creative journey blends my passions for color, art, fashion, and crystals.

 

With a background in fashion and experience in product development as a colorist, I've developed a profound appreciation for color, which now serves as a guiding force in my painting practice.

 

Drawing inspiration from crystals and integrating this into my process allows me to tap into their natural, transformative essence. Similar to quartz, art evokes emotions, inspires change, and enhances energy, bringing a unique creative essence to my work. Each color is chosen intuitively, and my brushstrokes strive to capture the natural flow, sophistication, and elegance of this transformative energy.

 

Creating amidst the busyness of life's daily moments encourages me to prioritize intuition over perfectionism, nurturing a continuous flow of creativity. I believe in the power of art to convey unique, intuitive messages through colors and dynamic brushstrokes. Each piece emphasizes the importance of spontaneity and authenticity in the creative process.
